I’m Elisha, the curator and hobbyist behind Gather Make Give. Starting a fresh in 2025, I decided to expand my store to incorporate the many passions and hobbies I've collected over my life. Expect to see all kinds of things derived from plant and animal fibres, and of course loads of colour and print! My hand-dyed yarn label “Natural yarn Co” is now part of my new adventure: Gather Make Give.
I started Natural Yarn Co with my Mum Kathryn in 2022. What started out as a mission to dye beautiful natural fibres to knit and crochet for my newborn son, ended up being the perfect postpartum addiction!
I have a background in fashion design and production and mum is a semi-retired Assistant Principal. Together we share a love for crafting, teaching workshops and holding markets. Recently, our whole family moved from the outskirts of Sydney on Dharawal land to the picturesque Hilltops Region in rural NSW. We are so lucky to live on a beautiful patch of land with a few sheep and Alpacas. We love this incredible country we live in and you’ll find many of our hand-dyed yarns are inspired by the colours of flora, fauna and places we love!
